penguin
regarding the subscription to sky hd, if i pick just the news channels and the "style package" and then pick the HD pack - does that mean i still get discovery hd, etc etc? just thinking of saving myself a few pennies and not paying for a "standard definition" package as well as paying for hd! No, you only get the hd for the packs you are subscribed to. So its better value the more channels you have. Personally I got rid of sky hd and the movies. We hardly ever watched any hd apart from channel 4 hd which is free.
