QSC
I realise this may be a stupid question, but I was just looking at the tech articles, where it says that an auto car fitted with a manual diff would be much faster at the top end - but would the acceleration be affected, i.e. would it get to the same speed quicker or not with the manual diff fitted ? Jake
Higher gearing = slower acceleration but higher* top speed *if the car has enough power to handle the increased gearing

veilsideTT
Whats involved with swapping the UK Auto diff for a UK manual diff? Do you need drive shafts and propshaft also? Any ideas on cost to do this? would love to try it but wouldnt fancy shelling out a lot of money to just "try" somthing. Fitting a single turbo kit at the moment but worry that 1st gear would create a very slow car with the manual diff! imagine every other gear would be fine? Alex
I would have thought you'd need everything from the gearbox back replaced?
