Scott
Ok so i'm getting some decking oil, what the hell do you use to apply it? I know it won't be a brush and the sprays are crap so i was thinking of a sponge pad or something like that but all i can find searching for "decking pad", "Decking sponge" etc is the replacement pads. What am i looking for? Stupid question i know but i just can't think of what the applicator would be called.
edd_t
Yes a sponge is your best bet. From Homebase I got a pot on ronseal decking stain and it came with the sponge (£14 a pot!!!) but they did also have indivdual sponges hanging up in the racks. dazla
At first i used a soft garden brush but it went everywhere, a sponge is ok but you end up having to use quite alot to get it in the groves, i just used a good fence brush. works a treat.
