Maserati 3200GT

Hi All,

Will soon be getting myself nice car again at long last (Been over 2yrs since I sold my beloved facelift TT6) and was thinking of getting something a bit different this time around.

Has anyone ever owned or known someone who has owned a Maserati 3200? Am thinking maybe servicing and parts being on the expensive side but not sure of reliability and performance etc. Love the sound of the V8 and will be a first for me as stuck to Supras in the past.

Got a budget of around £11k so any other recommendations will be much appreciated. Oh, and I havent ruled out having another Supra yet, although I would be very very fussy and insist that it was a facelift TT6 again as that was by far the best car I have ever owned.

Thanks

Gaz :)

i very nearly bought one a while back, but then i asked around and decided against, they are very expensive to repair/service and are not very reliable, there is a thread i asked the same questions on here before;)

there you go

Thanks Gaz will read up on it, any other suggestions? Been thinking along the lines of an Audi S4, jaguar XKR or maybe even an E46 M3

Cheers

I drove a Maser Cabrio Cambo back in '03 and it broke.

The car was completely stuffed for the sake of a spare fuse!

I hear they're not much better these days - and if you're looking at second hand ones...

For your budget i would deffo say your best bet would be an E46 M3, might have to stretch a TINY bit though. Actually here is a beauty for very good money, the colour is lovely in the flesh IMO. I know most guys here hate them and bmw owners but theyre a very nice comfy fast car
