edge
There was a big discussion on driftworks quite a while back and they seemed to cause more damage than good. Good luck!

dani_r
What does it do exactly?
miko_supra
What does it do exactly? Its something that basically controls the cars rev limit so you can have it say as low as 4000 rpm. But instead of cutting the fuel like a stock rev limiter already fitted to the car it cuts the spark plugs. Thus still sending fuel into the cylinders which tend to ignite in the hot exhaust resulting in lots of loud noises and flames.

CarlT67
It is as I believe supposed to "protect" the engine/turbo as it prevents the lean mixture cased by the standard limiter (just cutting fuel), the ignition of the fuel in the manifold/turbo does really protect though.
