Sherriff
Noticed an odd noise from the engine bay tonight whilst driving home from work and then noticed my fan belt squeaking whilst backing into the garage at home, after taking a closer look it seems that the plastic 'pulley' has sheared from whatever it's supposed to be attached to and is now loose but trapped by a pipe running down the front of my engine. My fan belt is now obviously loose and i'm thinking that I won't be driving the car until this is fixed, so any replies will be much appreciated. I've nicked a pic from somebody else's thread and the red arrow points to the part in question, can anybody tell me what it is, and what it's supposed to do when it's not broken? Cheers in advance for any info, Sherriff
