Guest Terry S Posted September 16, 2002 Share Posted September 16, 2002 The J Spec uses a MAP & the UK uses a MAF. Depending how far you are taking the tuning then there is a cost difference when tuning. Low levels of tuning will favour the UK car. High levels of tuning the MAF will get dumped in favour of a MAP in a stand alone ECU. The MAF is a restriction for BIG power. Depends how far you are intending on going.
