spartan
RUST ... in this case (although Respray might be next). Pretty rare for the Supra (judging by the number of old posts thrown up by search) but my car has a bit bubbling through on rear, n/s wheel-arch. No sign of any rust anywhere else but I have discovered that this panel (or part of it at least) is not original - probably a 'pattern part' as I can see flat black paint on the inside of this panel from boot aperture; the other o/s panel is silver in the same place (as you'd expect as mine is a silver car). I'm guessing that the rust-protection is not as good on these pattern panels as OEM which is why I'm only seeing rust here. My question is, if the rust is coming through from the back, can this be repaired by treatment and repaint or do I really need to cut out the rusty metal completely first (which begs another question, can you get wheel-arch repair sections for the Supra)? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Pig
Make sure it gets sandblasted and done properly. Do not search around for the cheapest price. Pay cheap pay twice. Also, i wouldnt expect anyone to warranty against it coming back.

AlanM
The inner skin was more affected than the outside, make sure you give it a good margin
