Problems With Wheel Spacers

I have recently fitted a set of alloys that I bought off ebay last year. They were previously fitted to an import supra with the smaller import brake calipers.Upon fitting them over my english spec calipers the valve caught ever so slightly. Having fitted wheel spacers and subsequently had the wheel balancing checked three times, I still have a wobble on the steering from 50mph upwards.

What I'd really like to know having read various threads in technical is whether it is possible at all to completely stop the wobble with wheel spacers on the vehicle, and I also read the phrase "hub centric" spacers, are these what I'm after ?

If you take off a wheel and look at the inside then the hole would be bigger than the diameter of the hub on the car. You need to get a snug fit to keep the wheel centred on the car.

You achieve this by fitting a "hub centric ring" made from plastic or aluminium, it should be a snug fit in the wheel then when you fit the wheel to the car it will also hold it centered snuggly on the hub.
