hogmaw
From a withheld number that has an automated voice trying to flog me a loan. It's the same message every time. Every day. Every single day, and it's been going on for months. I am a patient person, but it's really starting to pi55 me off now. It could go on for years and years. Short of changing my phone number, is there anything I can do?
Mike
Have you reported it to your phone provider? I think they can trace the number (somehow) even if the caller doesn't send it to you? I got on the 'silent calls' register a while back and that stopped it..
Mike
Try this
Alex
Yes phone BT, tell them it happens at a specific time and they should trace it and block it. Then there is something you can register on to say that you don't want any cold calls. Trying to find it now. EDIT - Too late.
Alex
This is what I was looking for, http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/
Thomas_germany
If you got something like a FritzBox you'll be able to block phonecalls between 3:29 to 3:31. I hope you won't get an important call during this time
MrRalphMan
If you get the company details, complain to the TPS and they could end up with a fine.
Mike
or just unplug the phone between these times?
michael
If they are trying to sell you something do they leave you a number to call them back on?
Stonkin
Ask for their address and say you would like to personally discuss your loan, face to face I know what you mean though, i went through a similar thing a few months back, 6 months before this i had applied for a couple of loans, so not sure if any details had been passed on. Thing is they were constantly trying to offer a loan with about a 20% apr! Like you this went on everyday for weeks. Unlucky for them they caught me on a bad day once and i lost it with them and didnt hear again. Give it a try

It locked up our phone for about a half hour, even after she'd hung up.
Jamesy W
I had the same thing months ago, although it was every Friday night at exactly 12:30. It was fun trying to explain that to the missus.
