Scott
No worries mate, i actually got the whole thing done for 420quid lol. They didnt change the spark plugs as there was something they couldnt get off to get to the plugs without breaking it. Im not entirely sure but he said he didnt want to risk it as i needed the car that evening. Overall i was very impressed with hypertech, asked me lots of questions about the car and generally seemed interested, rather than the usuall sh*t u get. I dont mind paying a bit extra for work done to the car as long as i know its in good hands Yep i did call Lexus and they told me they couldnt do it just to call Toyota. I was thourgholy pissed off with them. Even parts i'll be buying aftermarket ones even if they are more expesive than toyota ones. Never getting my business. Cheers for the reply Also i may take you up on a wee trip to peterhead for a copy of that manual 420 for timing belt and service?? I was quoted 2 hours for timing belt. Service takes about an hour to 2 hours max. Still seems a bit pricey.

Scott
Servicing isn't a problem, i know a guy that would do the timing belt and anything moderately technical. For anything other than that kind of work i would be going to a specialist for work. Basically the way i work is... Servicing - Driveway by myself Timing Belt & Anclileries including Alternator etc etc etc - Friend of the Family Mechanic (around 20-30 quid per hour, but he's good and works like an engineer not like a spanner monkey) Anything else - Specialist For the servicing i would use premium oils and spark plugs but thats up to you. I think all my fuilds were around £120 from opie. Plugs are expensive for good ones. I guess its all up to you. If your after a service next year or whatever and your close, gimmie a shout. We could maybe do both cars at the same time. That would give you the confidence to do it on your own from then on. I live in south lanarkshire. SupraRider
Yes I agree, Hypertech is a reputable garage to have your supra fixed. Mine is get there at the moment getting all the mechanical side of things tuned up. Hey people, I've just moved to the Aberdeen area not so long ago because of my job. does anybody know a reputable bodyshop that fits bodykits in the Aberdeen area? Would be keen to meet up with you guys once my car is ready. ideas anyone? Preston No worries mate, i actually got the whole thing done for 420quid lol. marcAB10
Hey guyz something about wallace performance....... I got told that they blew up a skyline and messed up a couple of other cars there.......... Yeah there are some rumours about WP but alot of the problems happened when it was under the old management. I reckon for something like a service ect you'd be alright with Wallace but for major work I'd suggest taking your supra to a garage that has more experiance with them. WP specialize in Evos, on the MLR there highly recomended.
