afennell
I want to start using my boost controller again, although my local garage says the car starts pinking at 1.2 bar(this was about 6 months ago when the turbo were replaced). does this sound correct and if so will have to I improve the fuelling? Lucifer
Most likley a Fuel pump if you are a J-Spec with over 40 ish k, as that is the limit. Also Im asuuming you are using atleast 97 RON fuel if not 98 (optimax). You need to get a A/f gauge to see what is happening. Pref Widwband. Also it might be pinking between turbo transitions so the 12v fuel pump mod might be an idea. Also check and replace the Fuel Filter, for th £5 it is!] M-Jay

Lucifer
Partco Special with small Trade discount applied. Ive tested this and the TRD and the Unipart filters flow the same amount of fuel: A highly scientific test with a hosepipe and a stopwatch!
