Andrew Dunk Shaw Posted August 20, 2002 Share Posted August 20, 2002 Seeing as a couple of people said there diff oil coolers were leaking i thought i would give you a bit of info. Mine was leaking where the 2 rubber hoses push onto the cooler, whats happened is dirt and moisture build up round where the hose finishes and then corrodes the 10mm ally pipes that go into the cooler, mine had 2 little holes just above where the rubber hose's finish and the oil was leaking out and running down the rubber hose's. Easy to fix, as theres approx another 1.5 inches of ally pipe sticking out from the cooler body so i just bought some more hose (oil resistant) and made the hose's longer to cover the tiny holes, job done.
