Guest Ryangordon86
Being new to the whole Supra scene, im looking to buying an exhaust as my neighbours aint been hearing me in a bit, don't know whether to go custom, would this be worthwhile for powergains etc? Or am i better sticking to the pre-designed systems specifically built for the supra, im looking to spend no more than £500, what are my options? (and who do i see about becoming a full time member )
supRo
Don't do custom mate - I've had a few (Power flow) and they don't usually fit 'right' or start blowing prematurely (oo er!) Have a search through the posts but the popular cat-back boxes are: Blitz Nur spec HKS Drager RSR - Apparantly this fits really well so that hitting humps is less likely You'll get slightly more boost with an aftermarket cat-back box too :-) Check out the trader links
attilauk
Im very happy with my RSR, the sound is smoother than a Nur spec but not quite as loud and the clearance under the car is much better
Steve W2
The RSR on my NA is feckin loud. Much louder that my Nur on the TT. But the exhaust are generally quiter when fitted to a TT anyway. I prefer the RSR but on my NA is very booming in 5th between about 50-90mph!

Steve W2
what sort of price am i looking at for an RSR? £400 (ish) from Paul E at Miami GT. Its a quality bit of kit and a good value for money mod IMO (in terms of looks, sound etc.)
