spiderpigcity Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 can i bring my vacuum line to my bov from the map sensor vacuum , or is it best to drill and tap into the intake manifold and connect the line direct to this.? also where can i get a t piece 6mm on both ends and reducing down to 4mm on the t. i rang envy and they dont stock any t peices for vaccum lines Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bodilx6 Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 You can see here where mine is placed and what connector it uses CLICK. Its the blue vacuum line where the stock bypass valve was placed. This placement will be fine untill you run silly pressure. I can get you a better photo if needed. My guess would be that you can get a t piece at any local shop. Why not try Toyota? TurboBrett Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 can i bring my vacuum line to my bov from the map sensor vacuum if the map sensor your talking about is the one your ecu is connected to nope, if it is the old map sensor (stock oem no longer in use as you are over 1.25 bar) in other words you are just using the oem nipple on the manifold as a connection yes but dont interfere with your map sensor signal also where can i get a t piece 6mm on both ends and reducing down to 4mm on the t. i rang envy and they dont stock any t peices for vaccum lines B&Q or a large hardware store, where i got a load of T, 90 angles and straight connectors from i posted a picture on this thread;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
