anyone used a hks evc 4 boost controller?

I bought one second hand but it is not adjusting boost so think might be solenoid playing up.

Question i have for those who have expierence with it is,

while i am in learning mode and after the intial blast through 3rd for the (L) setting u go in to the (H) setting and blast through 3rd again but this time i get the boost pulsing as u do when u have a limitter set and dont get a beep.

So is this pulsing normal for the fuzzy logic or is there something wrong?

By the way it is on my gtr and not a supe as u dont use fuzzy logic with the sequential turbos.
