wilfman Posted August 14, 2002 Share Posted August 14, 2002 The story so far... Got a small oil leak from back of gear box on 93 J-Spec TT 6sp. Took to Toyota dealer who ordered the replacement seal. 4 weeks later finally arrives. Car goes in for work and I get a phone call saying they cannot do the work because they don't have the tools! Dealer speaks to Toyota who say they cannot provide the tools. Even though the Maintenance guide from MKIV.net lists the repair procedure, Toyota no longer supports it and so it is a case of living with the oil leak or replacing the box!
