downimpact
Recently got a road angel which showed that at an indicated 80 i was doing 72/73 according to the road angel. Assuming the road angel is more precise and consistent, it will sometimes read 77 at an indicated 80. It seems to fluctuate and at lower speeds as well e.g 30-35. Any ideas, i haven't changed tyres or changed pressures etc, wondered if it may be weather related?

robin
GPS speed readings are based on how fast you are moving across the earth so a hill will make GPS under read. On the flat they should be allot more accurate. The Speedo gauge will always under read a bit by design. You should find that when going up/down a hill the Speedo reading is relatively faster when compared to GPS.

One time I rocketed up a twisting hill my Road Angel said (briefly) I was doing 649mph
