Will they fit easily in the rear and will they work straight off a headunit, ie no amps or anything?

If so, I could be interested as I don't run front speakers and am looking for something to replace the rears with that'll give decent quality sound without going silly.

Will these do the job?

These would be ideal yes. I am in a similar position as I have been running them direct off of the head unit (no amp). They sound great, are easy to fit (you get the cables you need in the sale and they are all wired up, so all you have to do is fit them in, run the cables through and plug them in)

You may want to cut some holes for the tweeters or mount as is (I would mount as is and keep it simple).

Also you could run them off an amp in the future if you wished.
