A FMIC doesn't sit IN the rectangle bit of the bumper, it sits BEHIND it...so even its the FMIC is slightly larger its not going to be an issue. Its a pretty damn big opening in the bumper anyway, so most if not all FMIC's will look spot on in there. Pic of mine with FMIC for you to get the idea... My FMIC is pretty small in length and you can only JUST start to see the end tanks.
