Removed stock BOV. What to do with the vac hose?

I'm not running stock boost I'm running 1.5 bar

Is that on stock tubbies?

I think standard practice is to block it off. Some people have found that walking stick ends from fit nicely.

I presume you'd get loads of pidgeon type noises and wastegate chatter with the bov removed?

I get a pidgeon/owl type noise, which I am assuming is the stock BOV opening slightly on low (and decreasing) boost, particulaly when going uphill holding boost at 0.2Bar. Anyone else get this, cos it's not a good sound to be emitting from the car! - sorry, bit of a highjack there

EDIT: picture finally downloaded. Are you only going to block off the blue vacuum hose? I thought you needed to completely remove the stock BOV, block off the two larger hose connections and re-route the vac hose to the new BOV?

Sorry I missed out some vital info. This picture is of my old written off Supe which had a stock BOV. I am now sorting out bits on my current Supe. My current Supe has no stock BOV and the two large black hoses are blocked off fine. There is a Blitz BOV on my hardpipe. I am just talking about the small vac hose here.

On my current Supe the hose I have indicated was connected directly to a boost guage. I have just installed a Defi gauge and want to 't' the new vacuum sensor into the area that is just off the intake manifold.

Hence I have a spare vac hose. Well did - I just put a bolt and tie wrap round it. My question was geared around - Is it safe just to block the small vac hose (coloured blue on the pic) off?

Cheers

Just
