Bradb
Hiya kids, Just got back from Austria.. Having left my Supra at Toyota dealership for week. Servicing department, haven't got a clue what is up with my Supra. They've contacted there 'technical' department for advice. Apparently, for a Toyota dealer to have been a Supra dealership they had to apply to Toyota. My dealership never sold Supra's and only have one other Supra going through there servicing deparment. So its a new problem to them. They have told me that it the turbos haven't gone. Which is a relif. Bradb
My TT drives like a 1.4. Foot down, turbo's don't work, they sound like they spool. No boost kick tho. No black/blue smoke. Lord Mycroft reckons its the IC hose, I reckon he may be right.

Phil Wall
I would think it will be the hose behind the wheel arch cover, that joins the IC
Guest Martin F
But if the dealership didn't find a loose induction hose in a week, then i would get your car out of there quick. One of the easiest things to check visually (apart from all of that underbody shielding), if it was one of the vaccum hoses on an actuator well that's a different story. matt
If an IC pipe has come adrift, I would think you'd hear it quite clearly... you'd also smell the car running very rich....... IMO As Martin said , the dealer should have spotted this ........ unless they are very lame
