Toytown
Hi techies Was thinking today (oh dear) IF the 3.0 N/A supra lump is strong enuf to stand a dose of nitrous regularly (which according to most, it is). Would it be worth the hassle of adding a small single turbo to give it an extra litte bit of grunt ?? loads of cheap blowers around these days & a rebuilt one should do the job I guess ? Like many others, I don't "need" loads more power, but a little shot sometimes would help, maybe only 3-4 lb boost ?? Any thoughts ??
SatSport
No point in messing about with bits and pieces that mightn`t work with each other, go with a ready made kit, you just pick your bhp! http://www.boostlogic.com/ look under N/A http://www.boostlogic.com/pix_html/prod_na_turbokit_pix.html good quality stuff rgds Roy. Toytown
Cheers Peeps I will look, read & try to learn. Can't quite understand how an N/A engine can produce more power than a stock TT without a replacement HG to lower compression, unless I'm reading their data wrong ?? Anybody know what would be a safe boost to run on the T61 kit without changing the HG ??
