couv3z
what do you think to this Dear Sir/Madam I believe I would be a good candidate for the Finance assistant role, as I have a passion for accounting, its something I really do enjoy. I’m currently looking for a permanent role to be able to make my own, and that will be a good learning experience, that will help me will I study my ACCA I've had good working background in all areas of accounts. I've worked as a credit controller for over a year for Misco computer supplies, who required a high turnover of phone calls a day, and to cover four different ledgers a month, Sales ledger experience while being a credit controller, allocating large bac’s and cash payment to the account receivable ledger. Also at my time at Misco I also worked in the purchased ledger department processing non stock invoices, from supplier to the point of reconciling cost codes from the Profit and loss accounts I've currently been working on a short six month contract at Avon cosmetics, where I dealt with the monthly account analyses work preparing the I.T. accounts for the company world wide. I produced detailed trail balancs for each department of the IT bracket and had review meeting with managers. Over this very short period I dealt with a lot of key areas, I helped create the fall forecast and the 2008 plan for the I.T expenditure. Which was a great learning experience. Meeting department heads and company directors to discuss there future expenditure. I feel I have all the qualities you would require for the position, I’m very hard working, deadline driven and very experienced in accounts. I am sure you won't be disappointed if you give me an interview. I've attached my C.V. and look forward to hearing from you Yours Sincerely Steven Couves M.A.A.T

Got rejected for a job today after having an interview based on, and I'm not joking.... "They felt that you just told them what they wanted to hear..." Come again?? Wtf!? Or it could imply that I was not being entirely honest when I absolutely was! I could not believe the crappest excuse I've ever heard.. I think I know why I did not get the job, it's just pathetic that they did not have the balls to tell my agent. How old are you btw couv3z?? (if you dont mind...)
