rob wild
I know this is not the most interesting subject But i've moved into a new house (well its 20 years old) and double garage door is really old and sagging. So in the interest of keeping the soop safe in a nice double garage i am thinking about getting a new garage door. I was thinking of an electric roller door one but where is the cheapest place/best quality? Not going to do it straight away as money is a little tight at the mo but any advice would be greatly appreciated Cheers Rob
far
I had this done in my previous house, you can get DIY rollers in B & Q which connect to existing doors on a pulley type system circa 300 quid. Not sure about the whole unit and doors on a double garage though! ps its pretty dam good to roll up to your drive and press a button without having to get out of your car to put the car in the garage! I would defo have got another unit for my new house if I hadnt put a multi Gym in my garage
SupraAyf
Rob, We have a 20-foot wide electric roller garage door which wasn't cheap. I think you may be looking in the region of 4K mark for a top of the line unit. This will include a high degree of heat insulation and security protection etc. I can get the number from the back of the door if you want but they are a North East firm so it won't be that good for your needs.
