djskeme
Hi guys, I need to raise the front of my car as its scuffing on everything. How useful are these spring assisters? and can they go on the front suspension? also, what sort of size would be the best fit? I need about 2 inch raise? Tricky-Ricky
I would be wary of them, but it does depend on what your suspension is at present?
djskeme
My suspension has been lowered, but i'm just looking for a cheap short term alternative to stock springs, as my bumper scuffs on everything Any reason behind your wary coment ? Tricky-Ricky
Anything that either stretches or compresses the spring beyond its normal boundary's will not have a very good effect on the way the dampers handle the loadings.
hodge
If you are dead set on getting spring assisters, which will raise your car a little but not much maybe 10 mm at the most, you have to take you wheel off and measure the gap between the coils of the spring and the assisters come in different sizes to compensate for these gaps. It tell you on the packet. Hope this helps mate.
