can't start - Alarm problem?

Recommended Posts

I have a 1993 uk Twin turbo.

Recently a door was left open and the battery went flat.

I have recharged the battery, the car turns over normally, but will not start

The alarm light is on permanently as if it is set.

I can not get the fobs to deactivate the alarm,

It is a standard fit when the car was new, although I have no documentation asd to the make of the alarm

Any suggestions as to what I can try, or how I deactivate the alarm

Thanks,

D

Do you not have the get out of jail free fob? Have you tried to change the battery in the fob?

I remember similar threads in the past but the answers were always given over PM for security reasons.

Matt Harwood may be the best person to drop a PM to initially, others who know the secret may well be along in the meantime.

If it's definitely the standard one it's a Scorpion 5000 alarm.
