Supra ST Myster Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 the elements on mine have all broken so never had rear heated screen, im going to buy a cheap 2nd hatch which comes with a good screen, so how hard is it to do for someone like auto glass to remove both and then fit the good one into mine? they said its bonded so chances are it will break? that right? i thought they remove them when respraying so cant be that hard can it? michael Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 I have a spare rear screen if you need it - elements were all fine when removed. It's bonded, you'll need a new seal too - I had 2 removed and the glass from one swapped into another hatch, cost me £50 - straightforward enough for someone in the trade. I don't know unfortunately, it was a local chap the bodyshop used, probably some obscure one man band if the rest of the work is anything to go by.
