  1. Strip the entire rear of the car down, leave no bolt unturned Not helpful, sorry
  2. Thats what I have. Not for long though
  3. Thanks, thought it would be best just throwing away. I would not like a repaired caliper on my car. Just need to find a passenger side one.
  4. Its the uk spec 4 pot caliper. Thats why I would like to sell as a working set. I could do with £200 at the mo. I dont need a replacement thanks, these are just sitting around.
  5. Looks like I'm probably going to have to wait until someone just needs the passenger side.
  6. Advantages ( Witham ) 01376502522, slighty more expensive but do mapping and have a rolling road. Westfield (Rayleigh) 01268783205, great chaps, great prices.
  7. Just clearing out some old supra bits, and i have a set of front 4 pot callipers but the drivers side one has a small hairline crack by the thread for the brake hose and did leeks fluid when under pressure. Can this be fixed as I would like to sell them as a working set. I have tried masking tape and staples with no luck. Thanks
  8. Just want to say thanks to my local garage for finishing off the last few bits on my car ready for the lucky new owner, and let everyone in the Essex area know of their existence. I have used them for over 3 years along with Westfields and always had great service from both the garages. I could not believe how little labour Westfileds charged me for a clutch change and full service. Advantages also have a rolling road.
  9. Nic, what's the price, with and without the control unit. I should be in touch in a few weeks.
  10. No, he was interested though. I have no doubt when, if the deal goes through he will let himself known. I'm happy knowing its going to a club member and an enthusiast who will look after her, other then someone from autotrader who does not realise the extra maintenance and attention these cars need. I’m starting to feel all emotional talking about her like this. [sAD][/sAD]
  11. That’s a fare point, you can only sell items at what the market at the time is dictating. All I can say is that its not the asking price (when do you ever sell for the asking price) but I’m happy with it, and I hope the proposed buyer is.
  12. I was just wondering if anyone has seen them in the flesh, how good they look.
  13. Never a good sign when you have to have a compression test. Whats happened
  14. No one seen this in the flesh?
  15. Thanks J. Pig, hows your car?
  16. £12995, Feels like I have spend that this year with the clutch, flywheel, injectors, setup, major service. Etc etc etc
  17. Anyone ever used this, http://www.neweraparts.com/partinfo.jsp?pid=451 Looks a nice clean way to add quality gauges. Love the defi gauges in my supra, just think they may be too big for an mr2. Does anyone have more pics?
  18. Probably down to personal opinion and the condition of the intercooler. My garage suggested it was replaced before running more then 1.1 bar with my T61. Although they don't work with Supras day in day out.
  19. What do people consider to be the maximum safe boost to run through a standard j-spec 10+ year old intercooler on a T61. Thanks.
  20. A house!!!! Also a little mr2 so I don’t kill myself with depression. Just can't live without a fun car. I admit it would probably be a better idea to put all the money into a house, but my car is my escape and stress relief.
  21. Bit less, shame the market is not that good. You are getting an awful lot of car for little money with Supras at the moment.
  22. Car sold pending payment and collection. [sAD][/sAD] :( :( :( :imsorry:
  23. I remember that, many moons ago. The G-spec wheels were nice but did not even nearly fit over the 4 pot callipers. I'm talking over an inch out. That was a lovely day, and it was nice to see Miguel in the flesh. Has to be just over 3 years ago.
