  1. Am I right in thinking that both the turbo's are the same size on the mark 4 and the initial boost comes from one of them and when above 4K RPM they are both working together to give the extra power?
  2. If I manage to get a set of 550 CC injectors from a UK supra, am I guaranteed they will fit my jap spec, as I just talked to Toyota and the chap came back with 8 different types of injectors!?!?!?!!? Also is the fuel rail different, from a jap spec to a UK spec? And finally if I upgraded to something bigger than 550's would I still require a resistor pack? Thanks.
  3. Wez mate, there basically saying this turbo is crap, so is it worth getting it uprated and repaired or should i just buy a whole new different model? Cheers.
  4. Dandan, are they bigger than the standard turbo's. E.G. Bigger housing? And im guessing they won't have 360 degree thrust bearing? Cheers.

  6. Will a UK toyota dealer sell a cam belt for my jap spec? Will it be the same as the UK one ? Where do I get an EGT gage and sensor? Cheers.

    Plugs

If I went to 500 BHP on the sequential turbo setup, what plugs should I run and where do i get them? Jap spec. Many Thanks!!
  8. Where do I find my traction control fuse on my jap spec? And dose that fues run anything else......like the fridge i have installed for me beer?
  9. Guys, Am I right in thinking if I take my sup to a turning shop, get a boost controller installed, they can then do the following........or is it more complex? Put it on there rolling road, so they can eek as much power/boost pressure out of it, while at the same time checking for det with some sort of sensor that they stick up the exhaust? I no the general idea is not to go above 1.2bar on stock fueling........ but the above way has two possible benefits...... I may be able to eeek a little more power out of the sup and i can also check for det!!!!
  10. Yeh hadn't thought of it that way!!! All good stuff, keep it coming!!!
  11. Yeh I gather Leon would be able to help, but again he is the middle man!!! Im after saucing the parts and also making the mistakes my self!! This in turn will allow me to keep a few more pennies back for fuel and also allow me to learn an awful lot. So if anyone can recommend, websites, parts etc that would be great!!!
  12. Terry, I have had a good dig around on the site already, I found allot of good info regarding what route to take but I haven't found much info on manufactures of parts and where to get them due to lots of the info coming from peeps on here that run there own tuning company's, and who obviously for good reason want to keep there suppliers and names of equipment used to there selves. This is my current stumberling block!!!! Sorry to rush into this, but I have got the bug and will not be able to sleep at night till I have it straight!!!lol.
  13. Hi there, Jim here, hope you don't mind a newbie asking such a big question early on but........... Basically I have just got my 95 TT 6 speed manual registered and on the road. Fairly young engine at 60K miles. Now basically I want to get her to 500 BHP on the Sequential setup, obviously new hybrids but what else. The work will be done by myself and my local mechanic!!! As a nice big learning curve for both of us!!! Obviously I will need to shell out for a rolling road and tuning session but we want to do all the dirty stuff :-) What I need from you guys is a detailed list of parts and suppliers to accomplish such a task. I have a good idea of the route I want to take with part but have no idea of where to obtain such parts. Im talking about getting them from the people that build the parts to cut out the middle man charge. So any recommendations or parts numbers or anything u can muster would be excellent, and who ever dose me proud will be sent a beer token. lol. Cheers. Jim.
