My Supra has quite firm suspension (Cusco Coilovers) and quite often when I go over rough (standard around here) roads, with the heater in 'Auto' suddenly the fan goes to full speed and heater temperature to max. If I thump the dashboard to the left of the instrument consol it usually cures the problem! I therefore suspect the Room Temperature Sensor and its connections. Question is has anybody had the same problem and how do I get at the sensor?

Hi All I bought a new Supra over 30 years ago, best car to date and sold it some 3 years later. Always remembered it and had much fun with it. After looking around for about the last six months finally bought a '97 ('98 spec) import. Its been in the UK since 2012. Had quite a lot of extras fitted in Japan and UK but has retained the 'original' look which I was after. Running some 400 bhp its quite fun to drive and I am having to learn how to drive again!
