    Heads Up

I'd be very surprised if this doesn't get broken - has the R154 box doesn't it?

£600 for a running mk3 turbo manual. Bet this is gone very quickly. Why do these always pop up 250+ miles away from me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-For-Spares-3Lt-Turbo-Petrol-Engine-/141818076853?hash=item2105041eb5:g:IlAAAOSwo6lWN3ox
  3. You're right mate, sorry. Searched everywhere & cannot locate one with that code anywhere, not even a cross-ref for an aftermarket non-oe one! Might need to find one with same no of wires & fitment (easier said than done)
  4. Under the Rockauto part catalogue use the clickdown menu & select Toyota, Year, Supra, Non-Turbo or Turbo, Emission, Oxygen O2 Sensor & you should have a choice of about 10-15 different makes. Do you know the oem part number you need or the part number on current sensor?
  5. Have you tried http://www.rockauto.com They do all years & specs but I got two jspec genuine Denso lambdas sent over from the US for £75 & it took less than 3 days to arrive (price included duty, vat & shipping - search for the 5% discount code online which is easy to find, plus choose the more expensive Fedex option for these small parts as it works out cheaper - the other options will mean that Royal Mail will handle it this end & they will shaft you with a £15 handling charge).
  6. A little white smoke from my NA aero when warm idling & a hint of the engine slightly missing at idle so decided to do a compression test. This is only because I'm putting it up for sale & don't want to pass on any issues to a buyer as I've just spent 9 mths tidying it up. So I have no water in oil, no oil in water, no overheating & the car runs very well so didn't expect any drama. Did a dry test, was from cold but all plugs out, WOT, efi fuses all out & cranked 7 secs every time, tested each cylinder twice as well. WTF - do I have a head shaped like a banana? 1: 220 2: 76 3: 60 4: 89 5: 95 6: 212 Previous service history also tells me a new full headset & bolts & timing kit was only fitted 13k ago. There is only a receipt for the parts so perhaps this was done without any head-work. I'm just really surprised the engine runs so well without any overheating or mixing, also passed Mot emissions last month. My compression tester is also brand new so can't be faulty can it? Is this just a spectacular head gasket failure? Any suggestions appreciated such as replace it as NA engines are cheap or is it worth taking the head off to check with these poor results e.t.c? Anyone got a good non-vvti engine they've just pulled?
  7. Awesome, picked car up & only advised slight play in rear ARB bushes, not rear ARM bushes which I thought tester had said on phone. Phew, much cheaper.
  8. I know of the SPF1922K kit but has anyone had experience of these two offerings (good or bad reviews please): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAR-UPPER-ARM-BUSH-FOR-LEXUS-GS300-GS430-SC-TOYOTA-ARISTO-CROWN-SUPRA-SOARER-/121742081109?hash=item1c5864bc55 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-Soarer-SC300-SC400-Rear-upper-wishbone-bush-polyurethane-/271763604000?hash=item3f465f8220
  9. Maybe a drag car in a previous life, where's it from US, UK or Japan? They do it a lot in the US putting huge wheels inside slammed low riders with the wheels tucked up inside the arches
  10. Guessing but could it be to fit a wider wheel/tyre combo inside the arch itself?
  11. Hi - thanks for the reply. I might well have to take you up on that but I only need one plus I don't know if I need the 23291-41010 or 23291-46010 as my model is 1993 & the dates cross over on the number I need. Does your set include both types then?
  12. N/A engine, just changing rocker gaskets/plugs e.t.c, & looking down I saw this fuel injector rubber ring dried up & split at the bottom! No fuel leak but perhaps it explains why I can hear what sounds like an induction kit on the wrong side of the engine, doesn't seem to affect the running of the engine strangely, except for a very low idle for an auto (600). I checked the parts cat & just want to be sure what to order (assume Toyota best to buy from for this). Please could someone confirm if what I need is called the 'injector vibration insulator' - 23291-46010?
  13. I got one of these. Has nut screwed on the back to secure which is why I bought it. I put a thin layer of sealant under the bung around the hole before fitting to avoid leaks: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JZA80-2JZ-Supra-Rear-wiper-delete-hole-bung-/151678602210?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2350bfcbe2
  14. You can get them from here & a few other places: http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts?cat=89&sub=1354&sec=1563&var=54&dc=y http://www.tcbparts.co.uk/ http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/engine-components.html?dir=asc&limit=120&order=price
