  1. its the small pipe leading into the heatder matrix at the back of the engine as far as i know, its the 2jz-gte engine, drove about 50 yards before engine started running rough, then pulled over
  2. hi guys, got a problem, driving yesterday and the engine started to run rough, then when i stopped it cut out! a whole load of steam started to appear from engine bay, when we looked at it we discivered a coolant hose had burst and drained everything. we waited and got a recovery truck home, ive replaced the pipe today but after filling car with coolant and starting the car its idling very rough!! any ideas what could have happened?
  3. yeah thats ut running fine again!! :) that hose connected back up! both turbos kicking in, all healthy! cheers guys!
  4. well, the 90 degree pipe coming from throttle onto intercooler pip wasnt even connected properly, sort of hovering above, unscrewed it from throttle and it just came off, so connecting it back up securely just now! hopefully it makes a difference!!
  5. ok cool, thanks guys, im checking everything just now! will let you know asap what i find, all hoses so far seem to be in good condition, replaced several clips and now there a good tight fit. will keep checking!
  6. hi guys, major problem here ive noticed that the boost is only sitting at 0.3? i can hear a turbo spooling up but doesnt feel like the second is coming in at all!! im in the process of checking pipes, there is a few loose (ish) ones, there is movement i9n them so im replacing the clips on them. anyone had similar problems like this?
  7. hey, i posted up before about converter, im wondering if anyone has a speedo connection diagram for a 1994 twin turbo supra. ive got to connect a ecu output wire to the ecu for the kmh to mph converter. im just not sure on what coonection it is spliced into. anyoe got any ideas. the converter has no name: all it says is... ck-un-09 v109.02.06 red - +12v green - Earth Yellow - kmh signal input blue - mph signal output grey - ECU output anyone have a wiring diagram for this? thanks,
  8. oh, btw, i just had a quick look, is there an ecu signal wire from the speedo cables? im a bit stuck with this, its a bit hard to try and read the supra manuals wiring diagrams, haha. the grey ecu output wire from the converter is not connected, im just not sure on what wire it connects to...
  9. ahhh ok thats good, the ecu wire is not connected, so will try that just now, i have wiring diagrams for it, so will giv it a bash! thanks,
  10. well ive found the speed converter, theres a wee box behind the dials, it says input is kmh and output is mph there is also a grey wire, which is output to ecu, but its not connected to anything? what do you reckon that could mean? it doesnt have a make that i can see on it. also..... i found a greddy turbo meter behind the dash, what exactly is this for? it has on/off switch, a warning light and a little bit for adjusting it. cheers,
  11. ye it comes on at 90mph, well according to the speedo its 90mph, lol. ye im doing it as we speak, i will find the converter and have a look at it.
  12. ok guys, error code 42, i looped the diagnostics check, came up with 4 flashes pause 2 flashes, so 42
  13. just to let you know, ive took out cd player, and looked behind, all there is is the abs ecu, and a small red box on top? im guessing its not fitted with this spoiler ecu?
  14. ok thanks guys, i will check it out and get back to you's as soon as i can!
  15. since it is automatic there are two buttins, one red for for override of automatic gearbox when engine not runnning. and the second when pressed says "manu" on the dash, dunno what this means... ive checked under the car and cannot see the auto spoiler thing. all thats there is splash gaurds. im going to check for this ecu behind the cd player tonight. but still not sure whether they should all come with this auto spoiler or if its optinal extra? cheers
  16. ok, i havent noticed a switch for the auto spoiler, may just be me being silly! yes well the speedo has been converted, but the mileage is still read in km. there is no limiter on it, as the car has been pushed to high speed. i understand the converter should be under passenger footwell, so i will look at it when i get home. and will check to see if there is the spoiler there. is that a manufacture fitted part? or is it an optional extra? your help is much appreciated guys!
  17. hi guys, the electric motor of the driver seat does work, but the seat is jamming at the left side, im guessing the cog between the two raillings has worn out. does anyone know where replacement parts can be bought? cheers,
  18. ok thanks mate, i will have a look at it tonight, as far as i know its the standard bumper, you may be able to to tell me? http://i2.bebo.com/049b/17/large/2009/10/05/16/2791091908a11686522533l.jpg
