  1. Cheers alex, Im in market harborough, about 15 miles from leics. could use a run over to kerons as i'm short a wheel nut!! so if you two are at a loose end i can soon run over
  2. sounds good, i'll dig my skid lid out. which way you hading over, fancy meeting up and going in together?
  3. i'm heading to london tomorrow afternoon, what time will you be at rockingham?
  4. had 2 days off work. bored now and spent too much money!! anyone else off in the mids fancy a run somewhere or some s**t like that?
  5. Yeah, still standard at the back, just new discs and yellow stuff pads. Didn't know if there was a way of adjusting bias, or just have to stiffen the front end to counter some of the dive. Front shocks seem ok. Others on here have the super monsters, but if they're using uk spec rears then I'd assume it would affect them more, unless the piston diameter is sufficient to equalize the bias again.
  6. Quick question, I've had the Hi-Spec monsters fitted to the front for a couple of months now. But have recently had new OE rear discs and EBC yellow stuff pads. Also have nearly new Yoko Advan Sports on the rear, and brand new Toyo ZZ3's on the front. Was out Saturday, on a nice dryish straight bit of road, having warmed the tires and brakes up beforehand, decided to see how the car behaved with the new setup. It stops lovely from most speeds, but from "high" speeds the back end locks up before the front. It does dive quite heavily, and stays on its nose. is there anything I can do to stop this? Although a decent set of coilovers are on my list, I didn't want to go too stiff as a lot of my driving is on poorly maintained country roads. Any suggestions?
  7. Aah well, I'll try and give people more notice next time. Will ring the pub and cancel
  8. Planning a little gathering in Market Harborough as there seems to be a lot of people in the area with Supra's and not much happening. If you didn't know, Market Harborough is a small town lying in between Leicester and Northampton just north of the A14, and east of the M1 and M6. The meet will be held at; The Bell Inn, Northampton Road, Market Harborough. LE16 9HD Starting around 19:30, Steak Night for a Fiver I'm told in the pub. Car park can hold around 15 cars. Anyone interested?! I can stick more info on as people require.
  9. It's back again guys!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180462118707&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_28906wt_939
  10. What time are you working until Ash, can get over about 15:30ish
  11. After driving to the cinema last night, after some spirited A road work, when I pulled up at the traffic lights, there were 2 knocks from the middle of the car, almost like bumping noise when stationary in D. Tried again in N at the next set of lights, and another 2, all be it less noticeable knock/bumps. Any ideas? Hackin'
  12. couldn't tell, looked like a TRD spoiler though.
  13. I'd keep the supra for now, and put a few more penny's away. Cars like this, http://www.ultimasports.co.uk/Content.aspx?f=canamintro give the best of both worlds. (thats why there's one in peices in my garage waiting to be built!!)
  14. Spotted a white Sup, about half 2 yesterday afternoon going along the A428 in Northampton going towards the A45. I'd just left work in a big blue van!!
  15. My Mrs has Gavin from AutoGlass round the other day to inject his special resin into her crack. I'm a bit worried as she doesn't even drive
  16. i've just been reading this at work, missed that you'd started again!!
  17. Market Harborough. Not the end of the world, but I can see it coming from my house!!!!!
  18. It's not really to do with gravity, it's the fact that under free fall conditions buoyancy is removed from the equation, so the cork stays where it originally was
  19. Had this one in a aerospace lecture a few (fair few!) years ago, if I remember rightly its a lot to do with the words free fall and no air resistance
  20. Has anyone used or heard things about the BC racing BR coilovers? or are there any amazing kits for road use? Fancied some Tein's but remember reading somewhere they aren't the best on the supra H'n'S Hackin
  21. Why? I can still see, and my right eye's a little dodgy anyway, so it all kinda looks the same at night!
  22. http://s748.photobucket.com/albums/xx125/1adamkr1/?action=view&current=00726760.pbw Well, finally got some new rear shoes for her, and I'm impressed. A pair of Yoko ADVAN SPORTS and she actually handles completely different. Fronts next month, but I really do need more power. With my kit car progressing now, I'm in a quandary as to what to do with her. Does she go, for another car with more poke? Does she stay and have a TT conversion? If she stays, it won't be long before I'll want more power, and then have to swap the auto box. Opinions? P.S. I am loving an aerotop this summer, my fish have never been happier
  23. Checked the error code, comes back as code 42. Take it that's the dodgy DSC then, although what does the active aero look like? and shouldn't there be an override switch if it does have one? can't hear the motor whirring. now i need to find the DSC!
