  1. thanks. just seams unless you have "a name" on the your car, who worked on it, who over changed them for the parts, then your not welcome in the click on this club. . and i know from speaking to nameless members, i'm not the only one who feels this
  2. you lot need to stop, take a look at yourselves. a new member (not there many of them around now) has asked for some help, some advise- and that is how he's treated? OK, some of you many of had problems with the dealer he got it from, but not every car a "bad dealer" sells is a pup. . . that could be his pride and joy, like your cars are to you- the price is all relative- some of you spend a stupid amount on parts, and on the most expensive people to work on your cars just to "the name" and a certain the "name" on the invoice, where much of the work could be done at fraction of the price, by some with equal or better knowledge- pathetic
  3. cheers. i'm just building it my way- my inspiration just comes from bit of brain storming- sitting looking at it with few mates. . . and the urge to go out and destroy a large amount of tires!
  4. cheers cheers- my motivation comes and goes- want it done so i can go drift it- and start my next build project. . . wanna get stuck into the open drift championshiop next year-

  16. so, to get to this point i could not of done it with the help of a few freinds- especialy joe- he has been the cage maker/welder/painter/drop in for a brew and end up helping- he is also the main man behind offlands build-
  17. right- after spending another 20plus hours sanding the inside- not joking- 2 of us- for about 4 evenings- sanding- had to get the 80grit out in places and go back to bare metal - as the paint had reacted that badly had eaten into the primer- worst parts were around the gearbox tunnel and floor pans so cleaned up- and bit of primer- were needed
  18. bumper- so while i was in the mood for body work- i fetch the bumper down - it's a bomex - correct me if i'm wrong so not in the best shape= but still in one piece- bit of a crack on the top - next to the Nearside head lights sits- cleaned it up- (opened up the crack with a tiny grinder- cleaned up all the fibres and then glass fibred it underneath- with 2 part resin and glass matting- and boom. done another night sanding- so a beer to keep me happy (ish) after a good sand- not looking to bad now- had a touch of filler here and there (not pictured)
