  1. I tried cleaning the contacts using a three-stage cleaning solvents (cleaner, washer, protector), with no luck. The new one (ecu) worked instantly upon connecting.
  2. Fitted a new ecu today, thanks to m_life, and it solved the problem.:d
  3. Sorry for the hijack, but the same thing happened to me about two weeks ago. Went to grab a coffe, everything was fine. I left her parked for about 2 hours, and she didn't want to start, revs were jumping around, the check engine light was on, there was a strong smell of fuel and the car had no power. Oh, and an interesting bit, if i floored it the revs were chunky to about 2500 then normal to approx 3700, then a bit less chunky to 4000. And the revs stopped at 4k just like they would at the limiter I'm thinking it's somehow ecu related... Help needed!
  4. A couple of months ago, after replacing the battery my idle died on my n/a. Then it started to cycle from 300rpm to 1000rpm. I removed it from the throttle body and measured the contacts (as the manual says), and they appeared to be fine (the resistance was almost the same as in the manual). So i did some investigating (dismantling the icv:)) and i figured out that i can manually set the idle by adjusting the magnet. Ok, i thought, if i set it on approx 1000rpm it would be fine and reassembled it thinking it would just need some time to auto adjust. It didn't:( So i left it at 1000rpm hoping that when i change my ht leads the problem would solve itself. (as i had a faulty 6th ht lead). Today i fitted the new leads but the idle does not seem to do anything. I unplugged the icv with the engine running and there was no change what so ever. Could it be that despite the measurements the icv is broken? I'm getting very annoyed by the 1k idle as my mileage isn't very high... So any help would be greatly appreciated!
  5. I need the dimensions for the heater matrix (L,W,H). Does the heater matrix have any valves or sensors directly attached to it? My heating currently isn't working and i'm thinking of replacing the matrix, but because parts for my supra aren't easy to get in my country, i'm thinking of replacing it with one from some other car (nissan sx200).
  6. I went to the toyota dealer, and almost got a heart attack. They want 5pounds for one plug (The complete set 11+2 was just short of 75quid). Ordered two big ones and i should get them friday. I've also determined the origin of the leak, it's not the one i replaced, it's the one on the left side (from my replacement plug). Keep in mind, the second leak happened one day after i've fixed the first one. Can't shake the feeling, that it's my fault for not putting coolant in. As i just filled it with water to do a couple of test runs...
  7. Well that didn't hold long... Broke yesterday evening. But i still managed to get a ticket for speeding:blink: Will be ordering the complete set from toyota first thing on monday!
  8. Got one, was 35,7mm, but my mechanic made it fit (using an old school lathe). So i'll be fitting it later today, yay! The old one i took out was completely corroded, which worries me, if the other ones are also corroded and are going to leak.
  9. Not around here. As there are only five supra-s (including mine) in the country. Last time it took them a week to get the thermostat:rolleyes: and i just don't have the time to wait for them, as she's my daily drive. So i would very much appreciate it if someone could get me the diameters of the plug (it's the one with the part number 96411-43500).
  10. Does anybody know the inner and outer diameters of the plug? I'm thinking of getting them made, cause it's quicker than waiting for the dealer to get them
  11. Well, my supra hasn't been that well looked after, so she can give me quite a headache from time to time. Sorry for the low-q pics, as they were taken with a mobile. Yep, it's leaking from the core plug, i just didn't know what it was:). Ebay then? What about a toyota dealership, can they supply them?
  12. Yesterday evening i went for a drive. After about 20miles i stopped at a car park where i met with my mates. After about 5mins there was a slight hiss under my engine bay, and at first i just thought that the expansion bottle was bubbling, so i took no further notice of it. After a half hour, we came back to the car, and there was a little river running from the bottom of my car trough the car park. I checked the water level and there wasn't even a drop of coolant left in the system. So the car was towed back home. Today i managed to find the leak and took some pics of it. Now my question is this, how can fix the block, besides welding it, because i don't want to remove the engine from the car? And it's a N/A Pics: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/4691/08082009009.th.jpg http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/2253/08082009008.th.jpg http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/1536/08082009006.th.jpg

    Deadmau5

One of his best mixes is the essential mix live with Pete Tong at the warehouse project. I think it was on 11.10.2008
  14. Found it. Cutted and spliced the pink one to the red/blue one. No more error code
