1. I'm not sure if it will work with an auto box. I don't think it will be plug and play.
2. With the Power FC hand commander you can change the map sensor to apexi.
3. The Apexi map sensor is plug and play with the original jspec wiring harness. The connector of the oem and the Apexi map sensor are the same.
4. The Apexi Power FC is plug and play for the j-spec TT 6 speed manual Supra. At the moment it has the base map which works with the stock twin turbo’s. As far as i know Apexi optimized the base map for BPU. I noticed the power delivery was smoother and in the higher revs a bit more power compared to the stock j-spec ECU.
5. For sale my Apexi Power FC ECU with hand commander. Works with the Supra 2JZ-GTE J-Spec manual gearbox non VVTI and fully supports the twin turbo sequential setup. £575 including shipping cost to the UK Optional with Apexi 3 Bar MAP Sensor: £65
6. What Chris said. A complete rebuild is too expensive. When i buy a good used engine i can sell the spare parts i don't use. That would be the cheapest solution. I didn't know the 2jz-gte vvti head casting is different compared to the non-vvti head.
7. Thx, but i don't prefer to take the head of if there is another solution . Then i need a new head gasket and valve stem seals because mine are worn. And probably the new head is in a overall better condition.
8. One or more of the rod bearings are gone on my current Supra TT with 2JZ-GTE. I want to import a low millage 2JZ-GTE from the United States from Ebay. The Aristo 2JZ-GTE's with VVTI are cheaper than the Supra 2JZ-GTE's and easier to find. I want to build a single turbo on the new engine but if I buy the VVTI I want to get rid of it. This because I have a Apexi Power FC which doesn't support VVTI. Besides that it seems to be hard to find a tuner who can map VVTI and I maybe want to mount aftermarket cams. So what’s involved to convert a Aristo 2JZ-GTE VVTI to a non VVTI? I can use my old engine for spare parts. I searched the forum but couldn’t really find an answer. Do the Intake cams from a non VVTI fit in the a VVTI engine?
9. If they are Varsstoens than i don't think they are 19x9 or 19x10. They only made: ES222 19 9,5 0 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black ES222 19 9,5 12 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black, Hyper Black, Full Polish ES222 19 9,5 22 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black, Hyper Black, Full Polish ES222 19 9,5 30 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black ES222 19 10,5 0 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black ES222 19 10,5 12 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black, Hyper Black, Full Polish ES222 19 10,5 22 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black, Hyper Black, Full Polish ES222 19 10,5 30 5x114,3 73,1 Matte Black
10. Trying to figure out what offset these wheels are...... Currently looking for 19x10,5 +22 and 19x9,5 +22 but don't know if they will fit my TT supra.
11. These wheels look stunning. I'm looking for the same wheels. I suppose these are Varrstoen? Can you post the specs? Did you need to roll your fenders? Thx
12. Hi, I'm Daniel from the Netherlands and member of www.wanganwarriors.com. I have been reading this forum for a couple of years but never posted a message . In June 2009 I bought a white Supra TT j-spec facelift from “Richie 400TT”. Imported the car to the Netherlands and still happy with it. In September 2012 I bought a twin scroll Whifbitz S366 batmowheel turbokit from “M5W TT”. But the turbokit is still sitting on the workbench waiting to get in the car. But first I need another 2jz because my current engine spun a big-end bearing. Already drove 2 years with this issue but now the rattle it is getting worse. I will post some specs and pictures soon.
