What are people's opinions on Auto vs Manual - I've always driven manual feels more like driving the car properly or is that stupid? Any thoughts?

Would a TT Aerotop be pushing it too far?

I was thinking a manual as I prefer them but am open to suggestion. Initial budget was thinking around £5k heance a longer term project to make it an awesome supra but doesn't have to be perfect to start with just a good base...

Cheap - meant cheap to start with, i.e. discounted because it needs a bit of work etc, as I am planning to do it up that's OK. I realise they aren't cheap to run though.

Hi Guys, Currently own a Ford Cougar V6 as my everyday car. I'd like to get a project going and think a Supra would be cool. Would like to get a cheap TT Supra and do it up really really nice ready for when the Cougar dies. What would people advise? I have downloaded the guides and will look through later. Any help greatly appreciated.
