  1. Thanks for the welcome people! Looking forward now to getting the car so much! Did you know here that you must rent a parking space before you can buy a car??!! And this is the real beauty, you have to get the police to MEASURE your space, to check the car you buy actually FITS the space!! SShah, Had a UK Scooby in the UK while I was resident, not until this year did work ship me out to this strange land. Japan is a weird place, very strange in many ways but logical bearing in mind how crowded everything is here. Public transport service is EXCELLENT, but on the roads there are traffic lights every 20m. Not a great backdrop for developing fantastic motors but they seem to do it! As for the car, it is a Silver 1994 6spd MT, HKS Super Drager Muffler + Induction kit and a different front bumper. Not sure if it has CATs on it, but standard everything else, 60,000 km on the clock and seems pretty good condition inside and out. Thought it would be a good car to start modding. :D I'm going to source most of the parts here but get someone in the UK to do the work, (After the SVA!) nyone know of a decent Supra garage place around Milton Keynes?? Any suggestions welcome! Thanks Stu
  2. Hello, Just put my deposit down, pick up my first J-Spec MT MK1V TT in 3 weeks if paperwork goes ok!! I'm pretty new to this game, last car owned was a UK Scooby for 4 yrs, so was looking to get something a bit more refined. Reason for the post, I'm after some advice on where to start on the modding trail. Car currently has HKS Induction kit + Super Drager muffler, not sure if full system though. I'm looking to get around 400hp's, reliable useage of course without having to change the turbos as yet. Questions are, what do i need to look at? Larger Injectors? Front Mount Intercooler? New ECU? Fuel system change? Please bear with me as I am not too up on all the acronyms, but would appreciate some advice on how people have increased their Surpra's potential. I thought I'd take advantage of my stay here in Japan to source the bits, but not fit them to the car until it is SVA'd on my return to the UK. Hope to hear from some of you soon. Many thanks.
