This is an email between me and Shiney Autos regarding a LED registration plate bulb that went out in my Coupe recently, not so long after buying them: Please note I had to put in spaces to allow the word to be shown. I have just read your email and became very confused as to why you mentioned "s h i t e" as I was sure my email never said anything of the sort (I also don't believe any of your products are rubbish anyway), and I decided to have a look at the email I sent to you regarding the faulty bulb... It appears I mistakingly typed "s h i t e" instead of "white" as the "s" is just below the "w" and I never double checked my email. Plenty, don't worry. Just didn't like the way he disrespected the Supra and thought his "Top 10 Ugly Cars" car could beat it. Would like people with more knowledge to try and tell him otherwise. I've moved on though.

Well, after coming across a video on YouTube about a guy posting how he beat a Supra with his Chrysler, I was trying to tell him the woman in the Supra wasn't obviously trying and to not make it look like you had raced her... It's to tell everyone out there that not all folks that modify their cars are boy racers, and to not discriminate against us. It is being organised by www.cruise-ayrshire.com and many other local sites have been notified, including strathy cruise and car clubs. Cruise Ayrshire are reserving seats for their members, and with a bit of communication, I'm sure we can arrange some spaces to save for the Supras to sit together just in case there aren't enough spaces in a row. Everyone's welcome to come along at 7pm, I think we're doing a photoshoot at that point before it gets busy. Hope to see as many as possible, this is gonna be HUGE!

Thanks guys. Yes everyone got away from it ok, only my mate with a cut on his head, looked much worse at the time due to all the blood. There were about 5 or 6 of them, so I wasn't going to confront them. I think I did the best thing. Also they kept trying to get at us after the bottling so they probably tried to kill us. Hopefully they catch them and they get what's coming to them. Probably only a slap though. I don't know if my mate or I could sue the club, since the ned had a glass bottle and almost certainly came from there. I don't know what my options are as well, if I could get the ned to pay for the damages caused.

Hey guys. On Saturday night me and my friend got jumped by some neds in Kilmarnock where we live. I was uninjured, but my mate got punched and a glass bottle over the head. They were drunk, started on us for no reason. His ex-gf was also with us. Luckily it happened right next to my car, a Fiesta, so we managed to escape to the hospital, JUST. Thing is, they were kicking and bashing the car like mad to get to us, and as I hastily reversed out the car park space where it happened, my left rear quarter crashed into another car's bumper next to us with the man inside it. If we hadn't got away we'd probably be dead by now . My friend was lucky and got away from hospital that night. So here's the pics of the damage. Police are obviously looking for the guys that did it, I heard they had phoned their friend to pick them up after we left. Arseholes.

Thanks Ian, lol a bit mental I know, That was up at the recent EK cruise. I love taking pics and would be happy to do a photoshoot with anyone next meet or whenever really. I would love to experience a Supra because it will be a while yet before I own one, being a student lol.

No I'm certain it's the MkIV, it says a 2997cc 3-door coupe, Twin Turbo 95-96, it MUST be the MkIV model, it's under a UK manual petrol. Well all I can say is I hope the quote I get when I eventually do get one within the next 2 or 3 years is similar or less to £1600. But either way I'm gonna get a Supra and I'll finally be a part of this most wonderful site

I know this'll be a stupid-ass question but why can't you just put a turbo in it, or is it too much cash/bother for it?

Hey I just got a quote from Admiral on confused.com for a Supra RZ Twin Turbo: Now I thought this was an excellent deal and too good to be true, considering it's FULLY COMP and I'm only 19. So I check the details and it comes up a Toyota MR-2 instead of a Supra. I was like WTF, obviously Admiral somehow got the car wrong because the price is too good and the car name is wrong. BUT I change the car to a Supra anyway and continue. Now I come across a question: "What was the best quote on your insurance?", and I put £1441.56, since that was what I was quoted on confused.com, not my mistake, theirs. After finishing the details I get a fully comp quote of £1600! So what do you guys think? I was just checking for a quote out of interest so I won't be doing anything right now, and the quote expires in September so by the time I have the money for a Supra and insurance it will be many months from now anyway. But could I use this quote at all as a reference in the future when I get a Supra or at least can I expect a similar quote? If only I had a Supra/money I would have went ahead with that quote!

Strange you mention that... I've just read that very thread about his crash before I read your post there. Very sad to hear about that, he was in the same position as me... young, owned a Fiesta and mad for Supras... Nearly cried reading that thread. You're right, I would like to take an advanced driving course some point in the near future. I know this doesn't excuse the risk but I am not a speed freak, I just love Supras.

To my mistake earlier about the "N/A UK" model... it was an option on confused.com even though it doesn't exist, which supports the idea that insurance companies know shit about cars, another example is the problem with Toyota Glanzas; many companies don't have this car in their database. I think the best way to go about it remains getting the best quotes then phoning them against each other and pleading with them to go lower!

Well I'll generally be going with the cheapest IV, whatever that ends up being. I might just take up the weekly lottery now because I hate waiting for something I want lol;). I definitely won't have the money for a while as the only chance I have at making money is over the summer hols, and this summer I haven't found a job yet!
