  1. I can't wait to see what this baby does on the strip.
  2. Jeez Tom, you TT is mint. Really nice mate, sublte but great. Impressive figures aswell. Get your new results posted the minute you know. Have you had it on a 1/4 stip? Surely thats the next plan?
  3. Fuel consumption is awful, but thats what expect from a fsat TT I suppose?
  4. I am after a modified Supra though!
  5. That's what I was thinking!! £35 is plenty of cash. I will go for something a bit less spectacular then. £18 is the top end of my buget. What can I expect for that?
  6. Quality. And those wheels are called spinners I think? When you pull up the wheels stop but the inners spin. Only in America... Paul, wana sell that Supe?
  7. Stick the boost controller on and think about telling them later! Whats the highest you can run the standard turbos at? And what sort of power increase do get?
  8. 12 mpg, BASTID! Going to kill me a Supra is!
  9. Paul, I have just looked at the spec of your car! Thats fcuking amazing! Out of interest I see you have opted for a big single turbo. Do you know what the power limitations are of the standard twin turbos? Also I read somewhere that the standard turbos can be uprated to hold more boost and ran in tandem or sequentially to alter delivery etc. I think it might have been Dragon, but they may have gone bust. Any help would be appriciated. I think I am going to try and buy a TT thats already been modified to a degree in the engine department to save a bit of money. Cheers
  10. So are 19s ok then. Can anybody that has a set confirm whether the scrub or not?
  11. Does everyone recommend 18s then? And not 19s? Those rims do look nice Lee, but the exhaust is very nice, what is it? George
  12. Oi I am pissed, stop confusing me! Promise not to laugh, but my current car is a Saxo VTS with Group A suspension, Hi Spec 4 pots, Kent cams, Gas flowed head and nitrous! Thanks for the help George
  13. Thanks for all the help Terry. Will pic your brains again no doubt Cheers George
  14. "doesn't have the shire power" doh!
  15. "Took a while to get there though" Who cars it got there! Where does it start to slow, 155mph. You must stop getting me so excited! I keep thing about drving round in a lovely black TT with multispoke 19s and a "Super Sound DD Dump Valve £325 70044" of course Oh and I am not an RS boy I jumped from an older slow car to a newer car, which is good in its own rite but just have the shire power I am after! George
  16. Lol 230 mph, I take it the Areodynamics will stop it way before that, even if you had 700 or 800 bhp! The thought of owning a 200 mph car is something else though What are the areodynamics of the Supra like? Must be fairly good to get 180bhp. I take it a std TT won't go off the clock though? George
  17. Can you hear the stock BOV? As I would love a Fast and Furious style noise from underneath my bonnet! I take it you can get a few different types from people like HKS etc!? And whats off the clock mate? tell me tell me! George
  18. To true, Well I am sure 325bhp will be awsome for a while then its just a case I want it to go faster, feel faster, sound faster etc. Do you fit any type of dump valves or are they just for R5 GTT's and RST? I am getting excited at the prospect of owning a Supra now, sex on rubber! I think the first thing for me is to get the speed restrictor removed. Is it right that they will do a shade under 170mph with it removed. Have most people had theres done? Has anyone had a top speed run at Bruntingthorpe or private motorway etc? George
  19. Thanks Martin, You really unnerve me when you quote my posts George
  20. What sort of power are you two guys running? I often here that some cars making 800 - 100 bhp loose out on 1/4 miles to cars with 450bhp. Reading DP Motorsport webby this was mentioned in great depth. Will I have to take this into consideration when buying? I don't want a car that is 100 bhp less than I am lead to believe, that could be very imbarresing for me. Especially if I told everyone only to be proven a bull shitter on the rollers. Buying a car from a club member could always be a good option, you know its come from a good home then! George
  21. TDI don't seem to be cheap! Even for fairly standard parts like intercoolers and charge coolers. £1350 for an intercooler sounds alot. You could get 4 for a cossie at that price! Extra injectors are £165 when I looked into Supercharging my car they were about £50. Does that seem to be the trend with tuning Jap cars? Probably something I will get used too! I think buying a car with a full system manifold and induction kit would be a good move. The UK spec cars have good brakes from what I can make. I found this one, I am not a big fan of bolt on bumpers and body kits though. 1994 TOYOTA SUPRA 3.0 Turbo 3dr Hatchback 1994 Highly modified rare 6-speed UK car with £20k professional bills from summer 2001. NOT AN IMPORT. Fully loaded. Approaching 500bhp and 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. E-mail for full spec. REDUCED from £18500 to £16500 (or closest offer) for immediate sale. PLEASE GET INSURANCE QUOTE BEFORE VIEWING. 70000 miles. £16500. George
  22. you even more cleaver people can correct all my typo errors! lol
  23. Thanks again Terry! And sorry Matt if that comment sounded sacry I wasn't aware there was a search facility, and i can fully appreciate annoying people like me ask these questions very frequently. Sorry for that, but I did appoligise for the inconvenience in the first place. I am just giving you clearver people an oppertunity to show off your Supra knowledge. Unfortunately I lack lots of this in the Jap car market, mainly because when these cars were first released I could bearly afford a Nova SR Whats all this about VVti models, are they better? Cheers Guys George
