  1. Multimeter arrived - checked out all VSV's - all ok & replaced. Scratcin head...last resort...Double checked all hoses & Lo & Behold - Jesus, Mary & Joseph I always knew there was A GOD !! Found that the large rubber hose which connects to hard pipe with jubilee clip which runs from E.T.C.S. manifold (blow off valve is attached to this) & runs behind radiator had popped off. Didn't notice this initially cos its very hard to see......reconnected.....BINGO!! I am now like a dog wi 2 dicks...cheers & thanks to all.
  2. Good on ya ! - Ta for that. Have sent for a multimeter. Just hopin & prayin its not a busted turbo !!
  3. If this identifies the problem - MR T becomes MR HERO !! (the beers'll be on me !!)
  4. Have managed to remove all 4 VSV's - trying to get hold of multimeter to test
  5. Thanks v. much for the info C & A - very helpful. When time, will av a go - when I can get hold of a multimeter. Who am I kiddin - only wish time was the issue ! - the VSV's are just about visible with me specs on, but not sure if I can reach em !! - mind of a kid - body of an old fart! (Put it this way - took the grand kids to Stockley Farm & gained entry as a senior citizen, without question ! - saved a quid towards my 60th!!) Would still appreciate name of nearest soop specialist in this field (Cheshire area) ta v much….cheers
  6. Hi guys - firstly, a BIG thanks to Ian C for your very helpful info regarding the sequential turbo system. Needless to say, I have big problem ! Symptoms - No 1 spools up, but not to "peak" - power delivery is smooth but sluggish. Boost reaches 0.00 on EBC, & doesn't go any further. 2nd doesn't spool up at all. Haven't "pushed" it beyond 2.5 - 3k revs in case I do some damage (although it struggles beyond this point anyway !) When running correctly, there's a loud audible "rush" from dump valve - This is obviously not working (no sound) With ref to Ian's info, these symptoms sound like the IACV may be "stuck" open (?) I've checked the vac. hoses where possible - all seem ok & in good condition (only done 40k miles by the way) Can IACV be checked ? Any advice would be most appreciated. Also, if I cannot solve problem, anyone know nearest expert in this field where I could take it ? (Cheshire area) but dont mind travelling if have to. Muchas grateful !
  7. Hi guys - Not feelin very happy ! smacked front bumper badly (Top Secret) beyond repair. Anyone know if there's a specialist (who knows Supra's) in the north west / Cheshire area who could source a new bumper / fit & paint ? I'm seriously considering a Stillen (eurothene) which will flex and also have more ground clearance than Top Secret (sick of scraping / sh...... myself every time I see a speed bump etc.).....cheers
