  1. Hello, I'm looking for some recommendations for a company which can perform an odometer correction on a TRD gauge cluster for a mk2 Aristo. I bought a TRD gauge cluster showing 116k miles but need it changed over to the true mileage of the car, 124k miles. I understand this is the MKIV technical forum but it's kind of a technical question but moderators feel free to move this if you believe this should be placed elsewhere. Thanks in advance. Mitul.
  2. I'm in East London also but an Aristo guy (only cos you asked)
  3. A similar OBX manifold has been fitted to quite a few GS300's in the US - http://www.clublexus.com/forums has more information about these along with a few dyno graphs floating around as well. They were pretty well regarded for the money last I remember.
  4. Regarding the 7200rpm rev-limit, using a HKS Camp 2 to monitor the rev limit, I can confirm on my Aristo with a 2JZ-GTE VVTi, redline is 6800rpm. Don't know if us Aristo guys got the shortend of the stick with the 2JZ-GTE VVTi but just thought I'd throw this in there for those with VVTi engines to confirm. This is when you let the autobox shift gears by itself - will try tiptronic to hold it in gear to see if it makes a difference but doubt it would.
  5. I've got a TT . It's not a Supra per say but an Aristo.
  6. I'd say both being increased but if I had to choose one it'd be timing over boost. I'd rather have more advanced timing, in turn increasing the efficiency of the combustion and as a result lowering EGT's as well as giving more power. I'd rather have lower EGT's than having sky-high EGT's from retarded timing and high boost not to mention also giving a much more inefficient "burn" of the air/fuel.
  7. I'll use the tiptronic on the Aristo to launch from L gear and then shift straight into D...I can't say for Mikey.
  8. Sorry for bringing this thread back from the past but the Aristo in question would be mine - I'd learned about this thread a while back but didn't really want to spill any details until I was 100% certain. I see there's a lot of bias for the Supra which I completely understand since it's a fab car but alot are underestimating the Aristo I'll basically have the following mods: 4" turbo back exhaust GReddy 3 row FMIC Spring/shock setup - hoping Chris Wilson may be able to sort this Fully braced (chassis, strut, lower chassis, etc) 100% Meth injection Pro EFI ECU (fingers crossed it'll be done by then) by John Reed to control boost, fuel, timing, etc All at 1.2 bar. This is going to be a charity fundraiser where people will bet how long it takes us to get from 0-100mph in seconds and in turn who's faster. So should be fun! Just thought I'd nip in and stick up for the Aristo crowd
