Price is now reduced, to £10,500 I can't go any lower so im hoping to at least get more genuine interest. Its being reduced as im keen to move on to a newer more economical car.
-
Want to sell it this month so to attract more interest the car is reduced to £10, 800 people can't tell me that isnt cheap for a bellow 40,000 mile full service history supra!
-
Okay maybe to show my lowest price I want will attract some genuine interested parties. My price is £11,150 no offers this reflects the fact that the wheels need a refurb(no buckles just kerbed), the bonnet needs polished, and a few small dents need popped out. Mechanically she is perfect as you can imagine being serviced every 3000 odd miles, the only mechanical thing needing attended to is the left caliper which is binding and will need a new caliper kit installed. Kind regards Stuart

May px on cheaper cars plus cash, ie seat ibiza cupra r. Will also consider straight swaps with mint escort cosworth or evo 6/7 or seat leon cupra r. Just pm with sensible offers and I could consider them Kind regards Stuart

After a front passanger side j-spec caliper! If anyone has one thats not needed. Its either that or I rebuild the old one which im not in the mood for doing anymore I just want to bolt things on now[GRIN][/GRIN]. So if anyone has one willing to sell i'd be interested before I go and by the kit. Kind regards Stuart

Think you may be right, I thought it would sell really quick for what it is but I haven't had the amount of interest I thought id get. I've had a few offers of swaps that have been tempting but still no one has called to visit to have a look. On the other side I got some good news on the celica on its fifth run it ran an 11.5 on street tyres and optimax and still only running 850cc injectors, so it looks like it is running nice and strong! Semi slicks, race fuel, new fuel set up and higher boost hope the new owner gets it in the 10's!

No one interested in this im contemplating just keeping a hold of it now!

The fueling costs of the supra are no where near as bad as the celica. I only used the celica once every week so I never paid much attention to its fueling costs and accepted it was high. I didnt sell the celica because it drank to much it was sold so I could live a trouble free life, just didnt want the hassle anymore of owning something as powerful, I know it wasnt massive power but it was enough that it warranted constant attention. I have used the supra about 4-5 nights a week and thats why im noticing that its hitting my pocket hard especially when my journey is 45mins each way:( Had some interest but no visitors to view hopefully soon Regards Stuart

Thanks guys, I have a friend very handy with the camera nothing better than a good photograph of your pride and joy. Im in Ayrshire Scotland. A small town called Kilwinning it should assist anyone wondering how far it is to travel, if you type it in the rac route finder it will give you an idea how far I am. Kind regards Stuart

Hi, sorry i've been busy lately and not had a minute to reply to any pm's i'll just work my way through them the now and reply. Thanks for the kind comments guys, I knew the car would be expensive to run but didnt quite bargin on it being as bad as it is. I have a run around car but I hate not using the supra all the time so i've decided to sell both and buy a car that can give decent mpg and still perform good. I need to move out soon as 25 and being at home isn't so good, so its time I be sensible. Anyone interested please txt the number, call, post or pm. I am Scotland based so callers please bare in mind they will have to travel to view. I shouldnt have a problem selling at the price and with all the documents and history that it comes with. Thanks Kind Regrards Stuart

FOR SALE: 1997 Facelift TT 6 speed £11,150 reduced £10,500 EXTRA INFO: Genuine 37,500 miles Fully documented Jap/UK History inc. Hpi Cetificates, Service & Hand books. Imported in 1999, with previous owner since December 2000. Mot until January 2007 SPECIFICATION: Leather Interior Folding Mirrors Blitz Boost Controller Factory option TRD suspension Aftermarket Exhaust Cat 1 alarm Bought the car a couple of months ago, staying 45mins from work I am finding fuel costs just to high. I am after the same as what it was before £11,500 which in my opinion for the car is good, with a full service history, reciepts and less than 40000miles on the clock. http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/7553/suprabackkn0.jpg http://img351.imageshack.us/img351/1554/suprafrontdf3.jpg http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/2214/supraglanzaxn8.jpg http://img351.imageshack.us/img351/4646/supradaylighthi4.jpg CONTACT 07957901579

Monster MR2 the best around 500bhp

The t-78 on the 3sgte is a lot of fun, id imagine those 850's limit it a little as mine was always limited in the boost department. The output figure will be spot on and someone that buys it will absolutely love it!!! -
I bought mine recently, with only 35000miles and the box is clunky/a dull thud going into second nothing to worry about, although being clunky it goes in smoothly. Just a characteristic of the box I suppose

Hi, Im after a new/used 3" stainless exhaust system, full decat removing both cats for the j spec tt. With celica I was always a big name buyer I have since learned that sometimes its okay to go with smaller brands for certain parts. Im on a budget after buying the car but i do need a new exhaust as the old one has a gapping hole in it! Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction? I saw this item on ebay 250004241141 by xs motorsport, having never delt with them I dont know whether they are a quantity over quality firm! ps if anyone is selling a used 3" system for the standard j spec turbos back and wishes to sell for a reasonable price(thinly lined pockets at the moment) I'd be interested. Thanks Stuart

Having to eat humble pie isn't so good. Just off the phone to elephant and they wanted £1375 to pay in installments the quote of £877 is web based and only accessable to a one off payment. I have to assume Sky will be similar. Its going to work out cheaper to swallow my pride this year and stick with Adrian Flux, and pay the £73 to change my policy to the cheaper one through them. Thanks again for the help guys, i'll go through Sky next year.
-
Adrian Flux decided not to return my call so a phone call to them to cancel my policy was made. I was told on the phone that to cancel my policy would cost me an extra "shortfall" of £230, but they got a quote of £1100 to insure through them and my "shortfall" if I change would only be £73. When asked why this so called "shortfall" is much less if I stick by them they said its a good will thing for sticking with them. Needless to say I told them just to stick it where the sun don't shine. This so called insurance (make me broker) is a complete joke!!! ADRIAN FLUX named and shamed!!!!!
-
Right returned the previous quotes to Sky and they couldnt budge on their first quote. So I phoned Adrian Flux and explained why I was disgusted with their policy premium, and quoted what other insurance companies are willing to do. They said they would call back after some searching about, well why wasn't this done in the first place!! I'll wait to see what they come back with and it better be good because if it isnt better than those mentioned i'll be changing promptly and wont return to them ever.

Lancaster just quoted me £736.23 through a company called Jubilee this is the same company that used to cover my 500hp celica, and when I changed my policy to the supra through adrian flux they put it through a different company:rolleyes: and said the best they could do was £1750. So if Jubilee can do it through lancaster for £736.23 why was Adrian Flux so kind as to change my insurer to a company wanting more than double what Jubilee would charge:rolleyes: What the Fuck
-
Okay Elephant quoted £877 with everything declared come on Adrian Flux what the feck are you playing at!!! These companies need named and shamed
-
double post sorry
-
Okay first quote from SKY is £1251 still seems a bit high, all mods declared Second quote by admiral got declined aparantly they dont like air filters instead they tried to pass me onto countless other companies one being Adrain Flux so I hung up!! Elephant minus my filters/dumpvalves comes to £850 which is starting to sound more like it, go to try again but put in the extras and see if it gets declined

Thanks guys just awaiting a call back from sky insurance hopefully its bellow £1000 as I know it should be! Adrian Flux are ripping people off, I have a friend who had less no claims, 6 points and is 2 years younger than me and when we both had standard gt4's at that time and I had 4years no claims no points I was paying £400 more than him. They seem to pick a number off the top of their heads and thats what you pay, there is no logic behind it. Also where I stay is a low crime zone!
