Update on the Rocker situation Just had the rocker cover gaskets sorted yesterday at Mission Motorsport down in Gosport Fareham. Kenny down there is an absolute legend, from Japan and all over Japanese cars. More Honda but still loves the Supras. He was a head mechanic for a race team in Japan running an r34 skyline with 700hp so he knows his stuff. If anyone is even 30 miles away I would suggest taking your car there. Attention to detail was impressive and quality of work was great too. Took pictures of the work step by step...then washed my car! Never looked so fresh and so clean! Supra is now less weepy, have to see if the dizzy is still leaking after a few drives.

Thanks Dnk! Great help!

Going to sort my rocker gaskets out asap, ordered the parts but I have been refunded as they weren't actually in stock Can someone point me in the direction of a definite fit rocker gasket set on either eBay or a reputable website please. I know what I need, I just don't know for sure as some don't state anything about vvti and such. Bladdy Supra mine field! Thanks for all the help so far guys, this really is a great help for new guys like me.

Do I need a new throttle body gasket when removing from the y pipe? cheers.

Cheers Scooter, I will take a look at that.

No not at all, I don't mind paying. I just didn't realise that's why I couldn't PM haha I've just paid so it should go through today. Just keen to get the supra in good health as she looks a bit weepy :/

Cheers for the info, how do I go about asking him though as I can't PM him :/ It's leaking quite a bit As are the cam covers, going to do the lot very soon!

Thanks for the info, when you put it like that it sounds really simple. I've never messed with timing or anything so it seems a little daunting :/ Where would be the best place to get the new o ring?

I'm fairly certain I have an oil leak on the distributor, the heat shield has some oil on it. I have wiped it down so need to check just how bad it is when I get the car back from bumper repair. Just wondering if this is something I can do myself or I should leave to the professionals? Only thing I am worried about is the timing and marking it all up correctly. Would like to save money (and get my hands dirty) if I can but if it's a serious job then I'll get it done properly. Anyone done there's? Was it easy? 1993 NA MANUAL 92k miles.

I've decided to keep hold of my old caliper and rebuild it with a kit (when I get a chance!). That way the next owner has the matching purple caliper to the others.

Taking the car in tomorrow for fitting, waiting for the 'ooh yeah you need 2 new discs and a set of pads as well" The disc has no lip at all and the pads look pretty new. The disc hasn't been getting any hotter than a good fast road blast with lots of braking. Wheel isn't even getting hot really so I can't see it being warped, just that the disc is hotter than I know it should be. Should I get them to ring me when it's all stripped and have a look myself? Get them to show me the disc is warped (if apparently it is) I don't want to be paying for bits I don't need, waste of money and good serviceable parts!
