Guest Nicholas
Just got myself a neat little steam cleaner for those hard to reach engine bay places, would it be safe to use it on the wheels and paint also?
Guru
Be careful around the electrics in the engine bay thats all I think....
JustGav
Be careful not to put too much water near the coil packs. They have a gulley which seems to collect water, and needless to say the car starts missfiring like a bastid, NA's are the worst for it. Just try and keep the coilpack area as dry as possible. Me being a Valeter for a living i know exactley what happens to a N/A when you get the coil packs wet,it started but sounded like a trackter. I had to blow all of the water out of the gulley using an airline not to mention all the plugs had to come out:( If your gona do it make sure you leave the car running:D

N/As haven't got coilpacks, have they But keep the water away from the electrics anyway. I always found wrapping a plastic bag around the vulnerable bits tended to offer a degree of protection
