markjodrell
hi all I know this has been discussed many times before but having trawled through previous posts I still havnt arrived at a conclusion. Will the J spec plastic lenses take the extra heat from say a 100w Xenon and will the wiring also be okay , without the use of additional relays etc I propably wouldnt want to up-grade all to 100W maybe just the fog and main beams. Using HB3 9005 x 2 dipped and main H3 for fog :search:
Jim_1979
The wiring should be fine. The 100w bulbs used to come with a warning on them saying not to use them with plastic backed headlights. They don't have that warning on them now though. If they destroy your lenses sue??.... ?

Steve W
Had 100w in the HIGH Beam for yonks now, but not sure about using them in the 'Projector'-type (ie DIP and FOG) in case get the glass bits too hot ?? The 100w i got specifically say SAFE for use with plazzy lenses (UV filtered or some cr*p ???) ??????
