AdzC
I find Autoglym intensive tar remover will normally remove any stubborn sticky residue left over
spidermonkey
i had the same sticker, removed it by picking up an edge then peeling the whole thing off (careful), then used nail polish remover to grt the sticky stuff off

Mike
I've still got the Jap tax disc things stuck on my windscreen, quite shockingly... think I'll have a go with the nail varnish remover tomorrow....
Matt Harwood
If you use a hairdryer, or heat gun on a low setting, to warm up the sticker first, it will come off much easier and leave less residue.

garetheves
Yup i was gonna suggest the hair dryer as well. My first car came over with a horrible purple tint to the rear window, took a while but did come off with the hairdryer. As well as white spirit or nail polish remover to get the sticky stuff off, you can buy the rather appropriately named "Sticky-stuff remover" from hardware stores. Likr Ronseal it does exactly what it says on the tin.
mathew
after a lot of elbow grease managed to remove all the residue with nail polish remover. the view from the rear is now looking a lot more cleaner
miko_supra
mine was covered in stickers when i got it. As others have said, hair dryer and peal off the major bits. Then i used bug and tar remover, then i used thinners (only on the glass) if on any of the pannles a gentle 2 seconds on the area with a decent steam cleaner every now and again and use an old credit card. stuohy
I have the same sticker on my rear window, which I want to remove... I'm just dubious about doing it because the back window is tinted... I don't want to pull off the tint (is that possible?) Has anyone any ideas?

stuohy
Unfortunately, the sticker is on the inside...
