Guest mk47
iv painted my dash recently but fancy a change of colour, so im wondering can i just primer over the dash as normal (over the current paint) or would i have to sand it down again? thanks
merckx
Just paint on top, but rub down a little so the new paint has a key. Maybe some primer near the colour of the top coat if you're going for something totally different.

lovatt
you wont need a primer then if you have used good quality paint and they are the same brand but you will need to lightly sand the old paint
