Window tint sticker removal

Hey all

My drivers-side rear quarter window is covered with a sticker, I assume one to black out the windows. Its the only one on any of the windows of the car, so its more than a little annoying. Anyone got any tips on getting it off? My best guess is to use a hair dryer to warm it up, loosen the adhesive and peel it off, then use something like white spirit to get rid of whats left of the adhesive on the window.

Any better ideas?

Cheers

doesn't sound like it'll take much to remove it to be honest.

That's what I thought removing window tint film from the rear 3/4 window of a Puma... took hours. Eventually used petrol on a rag (*carefully!*) but it took a fair bit of elbow grease. End result was good tho, like new.

I removed my front window tints last weekend. Took the blade out of a stanly knife, carefully picked away at the edges and the whole lot came off in one piece! No white spirits needed :)

Then i scraped all the adheasive stuff off the window being careful not to scratch it of course! Took me about 40 mins to do both windows.

After that i was bored and decided to buy some new front speakers as my standard 14 year old ones had kinda fallen to pieces inside the door! hehe
